Sabla was founded in 1987 to change the attitude of atrocities on women by providing them opportunities to move ahead on the development track. It does so by organising them and making them aware of their rights and duties.
As the name indicates, Sabla is a mean to empower women, so that its role in the society is of equality and of friendly nature. It works among women and children, especially girl child.

Family Settles after Conciliation
Shivkanti is a 25 years old village women residing in Sirsi village. She was a victim of violence, her husband was a drunkard and would beat her regularly. Fearing for her life she came to the family counselling centre of Sabla where her life changed for the good.
